The project involves the digitalization of the work permit process, including the development of a centralized system for managing permits, documents, and personnel qualifications across multiple sites and external partners. It also includes the automation and integration of this system with existing internal tools, while coordinating cross-functional teams and ensuring effective stakeholder communication. ResponsibilitiesPlan and manage medium to complex IT projects, including project scheduling, critical path identification, and milestone planning.Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project environment analysis, work breakdown structures, resource plans, and cost plans.Identify, analyze, and implement risk management strategies throughout the project lifecycle.Lead and coordinate project teams, assign responsibilities, and ensure alignment with project goals.Manage and implement changes effectively, ensuring they align with project objectives and stakeholder expectations.Report project progress and represent the project in steering committee meetings and stakeholder presentations.Monitor and manage project budgets, resources, and deployments to ensure efficient project execution.Apply project management methods, tools, and agile development practices (e.g., Kanban, Scrum) to optimize processes and outcomes.Occasional on-site visits to Germany (~20% of the time) RequirementsMinimum 10 years of experience in IT Project Management in large-scale, multi-stakeholder environmentsHands-on experience in delivering IT project management services in industrial or production environments - ideally in the energy sector (e.g., working with energy transmission or distribution operators)Strong understanding of the energy / utility sector and its regulatory environmentExcellent organizational, communication, moderation, and presentation skills to effectively manage teams and stakeholders.Strong knowledge of IT industry standards, project management methods, tools, and Agile practices (e.g., Kanban, Scrum). Fluency in German (min.
