We are looking for a seasoned professional to lead the Data Quality amp; Remediation (DQamp;R) delivery efforts for a large-scale data transformation initiative at a leading financial institution. This role requires a strong leader with a strategic mindset, hands-on experience in financial environments, and the ability to align data quality efforts with wider business objectives.

• Duration : nbsp;2–3 years (until May 2027)

• Working hours : nbsp;9 : 00–17 : 00 CET (GMT+1)

Key Responsibilities :

Drive and enhance the Finance Data Quality amp; Remediation Strategy in collaboration with Finance Leadership, Delivery Teams, and other cross-functional units.

Manage a distributed team of 5–10 professionals across Ireland and other locations, ensuring high-quality, consistent, and reliable delivery.

Work closely with peer banking departments, including the Group Data Office, to align data quality objectives with the broader enterprise strategy.

Maintain and implement core plans and processes to ensure transparency and stakeholder satisfaction.

Required Skills and Experience

Degree in Computer Science or related field.

Strong expertise in databases, SQL, and ETL technologies.

Over 10 years of experience in enterprise-level IT projects.

Minimum 7 years of direct collaboration with end users in financial institutions.

At least 7 years of leadership experience, with a demonstrated ability to lead and inspire teams.

Proven success in delivering production-grade systems in regulated financial environments, with hands-on involvement in improving existing systems.

Excellent leadership, management, and communication skills, capable of working across onshore and nearshore teams in a matrix structure.

Strategic thinking combined with a detail-oriented approach, with the ability to mentor and guide technical teams.

Preferred Qualifications

Practical experience in Agile environments with a focus on outcomes.

Experience with Informatica / IDQ.

Knowledge of Axon.

Familiarity with BCBS data delivery standards.
