Senior Project Manager

Your responsibilities

• Driving global cross-functional team through scope development, detailed project plan, resource plan and budget estimates.
• Risk planning and mitigation, status reporting, stakeholder communications and management, ensuring scope and deliverables stay on track, managing project timeline and financial budgets.
• Adapting precedent and may make significant departures from traditional approaches to develop solutions.
• Managing and conducting cross-functional project meetings and is responsible for quality meeting agenda’s, minutes, project tracking, analysis, and supporting project documentation utilizing company SharePoint site.
• Leading team collaboration in the preparation of project scope requirements and approval from business sponsors and key stakeholders. Also includes management of significant project changes or scope creep according to organizational policy.
• Creating accurate project status reports for required project data, ensuring a balanced view of all key stakeholder groups, risk, mitigation and opportunity. Establishing partnership with key project business units : resource managers and stakeholders.
• Managing and tracking project expenses by department and communicates to appropriate budget owner.
• Creating and managing resource hour budget according to organization policy.
• Seeking out opportunities to contribute to the business success through proactive involvement in team initiatives and special assignments.

As Senior Project Manager for our R&D Technology division you will be responsible for providing leadership and management of multiple engineering, new product development, or highly complex specialized projects in the area of R&D technology . In this role, you will be involved in all aspects of the development and implementation of assigned projects and provide a single point of contact for those projects. Leading global cross-functional teams from scope creation and development through final implementation including launch activities. Driving definition of project scope and objectives. Developing detailed project schedules, resources estimates, resource plans and status reports. Managing and conducting project meetings and is responsible for project tracking and analysis including identification of issues, risks and corresponding mitigation plans. Ensuring adherence to quality standards, engineering standards, company policy and product requirements. Managing the integration of vendor tasks and tracks and reviews vendor deliverables, if applicable to project. Providing technical and analytical guidance to the team. Recommending and takes action to direct the analysis and solutions of problems and serving as a liaison between the project team and other business departments as needed.
