For my client - an international organization working in the field of tourism, I am looking for a candidate for the newly created position :   Business Development Manage Poland / CEE.  If you are seeking an organization characterized by dynamism, innovation, and you passion is tourism and contact with people - this opportunity is perfect for you.

Requirements

  • Higher education
  • Several years of experience in tourism business
  • Proficiency in English and Polish
  • Good communication & presentation skills
  • Sales Management and Sales Development skills
  • Computer literacy, including MS Office skills
  • Analytical skills and the ability to work independently
  • Driving license category B
  • Willingness to undertake business trips

Responsibilities

Sales Development :

  • Contribute to elaborate every year the Strategic Plan (SWOT, Vision, Marketing Budget, Sales Action Plan) in a position of Consultant in close cooperation with Management the DMC counterparts
  • Lead Business Reviews of the markets including the Strategic Plan
  • Establish the list of prospects to target in priority during the current fiscal year
  • Prospect on the market by using all the means available (internet, directories, social networks, database)
  • Use the CRM of company as the main source of information and follow-up of business development
  • Trains the DMC counterparts in charge with the prospects about the client’s way to work and its specificities
  • Ensure the relationship with the client until the moment the DMC counterparts have declared the client faithful
  • Marketing Events

  • The BDM shall participate all workshops and events decided in the Sales Action Plan
  • The BDM will work and elaborate all specific marketing operations decided (emailing, webinars, e-brochures etc…) with the DMC counterparts
  • Train clients to our products and processes by organizing or participating private training sessions, webinars or any other mean
  • Participate the Trade Shows, clients’ events (etc.) decided and budgeted in the Sales Action Plan
  • Strategy & Reporting :

  • Strategic Plan : The BDM / DMC counterparts shall elaborate together the SWOT analysis, the Vision, the Sales Objectives, the Action Plan and the Budget for the coming year
  • Sales REP Monthly Report : the SDM will receive regularly a report about the results of its market
  • Sales Meeting : The SDM will participate the sales meetings of company and the DMC counterparts to follow-up the Strategic Plan, comment the activity, follow-up the sales prospection activity and ask all the questions to get empowered.
  • Production :

  • Understand the trends of new products on the market
  • Identify the needs of new products from the Clients
  • Knows how to share and transmit these needs to the DMCs.
  • Competition :

  • Collect information from the competitors
  • Transmit this information to the DMCs
  • Identify the sale pitches for the competitor on the market
  • Knows the weaknesses of each competitor
  • Between daily duties :

  • Sales prospection : 60% of the working time
  • Strategic management & reporting time : 10%
  • Training active clients and new clients : 10% of the working time
  • Supporting the Sales Departments in the destinations to work with active clients : 20% of the working time
