Lead / Senior Data Engineer (Remote)

Czym będziesz się zajmować?

Duties and Responsibilities :

• Lead the development and maintenance of data pipelines, ETL / ELT processes, and data workflows across our Azure-based analytics platform
• Mentor and provide technical leadership to a team of data engineers while establishing best practices, coding standards, and architectural patterns
• Design and implement scalable data integration solutions for real-time and batch processing scenarios
• Collaborate with data architects, scientists and analytics engineers to optimize data delivery, storage solutions, and computational resources
• Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications and process documentation for IT counterparts (on-prem and offshore)
• Support continuous improvement by investigating and presenting alternatives to processes and technologies to an architectural review board
• Develop and ensure adherence to published system architectural decisions and development standards

Kogo poszukujemy?

Experience, Knowledge and Skills :

7+ years of experience in data engineering, with at least 3 years in team leadership

Highly proficient in Databricks, and / or Snowflakenbsp;

Strong experience with Azure data stacknbsp;

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS or related field (industry experience substitutable)nbsp;

Expert level in data lakehouse, data warehouse design / architecture, dimensional data modeling and ETL process development

Strong programming skills in : Python (pandas, PySpark, NumPy) and SQL (T-SQL, Spark SQL)

Experience with DBT, Delta Parquer, Orchestration tools (dagster, prefect, airflow, argo)
