Transportation Manager E-Commerce Fulfillment

We are currently looking for a new colleague to join us as Transportation Manager E-Commerce Fulfillment for a new product created and driven by a single purpose - to help small and mid-sized e-commerce businesses scale by offering technology-driven fulfillment solutions that enable business founders to devote more time on other things that matter in their businesses.

As a Transportation Manager E-Commerce Fulfillment , you will be managing DP World's relationships with parcel carrier providers and serving as the primary point of contact for all transportation matters. You will also have the opportunity to build and supervise a regional transportation team. This exciting role is remote and based in Poland, but ideally you live close to Poznań.

Your responsibilities :

• Reviewing and optimizing carrier schedules to align with operational requirements and meet SLAs.
• Utilizing data analytics tools to track and analyzing carrier performance, transit times, and key operational metrics.
• Implementing strategies to optimize carrier schedules, reduce lead times, and enhance overall efficiency in parcel distribution operation.
• Overseeing day-to-day operations related to carrier pickups, ensuring a smooth and coordinated flow of shipments from the fulfillment centers.
• Collaborating with internal teams to streamline processes, identify bottlenecks, and implement operational improvements.
• Establishing procedures to manage the relationship between the DP World outbound teams and local parcel carrier operations teams.
• Resolving and or escalating parcel operations exceptions as well as onboarding new parcel carrier providers.
• Effectively building and supervising the regional parcel operations team, providing leadership and promoting collaboration with team members while ensuring that personal development is established.
• Making sure that the organization's goals & objectives are aligned and translated into SMART targets for the specific team.
• Act as an ambassador for DP World at all times when working; promoting and demonstrating positive behaviors in harmony with DP World’s Principles, values and culture; ensuring the highest level of safety is applied in all activities; understanding and following DP World’s Code of Conduct and Ethics policies.
