We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Automation QA Engineer with a hybrid approach (manual and automation testing) to join our team in Poland. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software solutions for a UK-based project. The ideal candidate will possess strong English communication skills, experience in Agile methodologies, and a solid background in test automation using Java and Selenium. Knowledge of the insurance business domain would be a significant plus.
YOU WILL
- Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Java and Selenium to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Maintain and enhance existing automation frameworks and scripts.
- Perform manual testing as needed, including functional, integration, and regression testing.
- Work closely within an Agile development team, participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Identify, document, and track software defects using our issue tracking system.
- Collaborate effectively with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure a high-quality product.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our testing processes and methodologies.
- Potentially gain exposure to the insurance business domain.
YOU NEED
Very good command of English, both written and spoken, as the project involves a UK-based team.Experience working within an Agile methodology.2-3 years of hands-on experience as an Automation Engineer, utilizing Java and Selenium for creating new automation scripts and maintaining existing ones.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.Nice to have :
