about-project :

  • The project focuses on assessing and improving data quality through profiling and analysis. Key tasks include identifying anomalies, documenting results, and creating visual reports for stakeholders. It involves collaboration with business units and regular updates to reflect data structure changes. The specialization is in Data Quality and Data Analysis.
  • The technology stack includes SQL, Databricks, Python or R, and reporting tools.
  • The project is planned for a 4–6 month duration. We are looking for candidates available to start immediately.

    • responsibilities :

  • Data Exploration :
  • Extract and analyse data to assess structure, content, and quality.
  • Analyse key data attributes, relationships, and dependencies.
  • Data Profiling :
  • Utilise data profiling tools to perform statistical profiling (e.g., null value checks, uniqueness analysis, value distribution).
  • Generate and analyse data quality reports.
  • Issue Identification and documenting :
  • Pinpoint inconsistencies, anomalies, duplicates, and missing data.
  • Collaborate with own and other teams to resolve data issues.
  • Documentation and Reporting :
  • Maintain detailed documentation of profiling results.
  • Create visuals and summaries of results to share findings with stakeholders.
  • Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement :
  • Work closely with business units to understand data usage and ensure alignment.
  • Monitoring and Maintenance :
  • Regularly update profiling tools and results to align with schema and mapping changes as needed.

  • Minimum 2–4 years of experience in data profiling, data analysis, or a similar role
  • Proficiency in SQL for querying and analyzing large datasets
  • Experience with data profiling tools (e.g., Databricks, or similar)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively present findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Familiarity with data quality frameworks and concepts such as data cleansing, data governance, and master data management
  • Knowledge of programming languages like Python or R for data analysis (preferred)
  • Excellent level of written and spoken English.
