We're on the lookout for a  Senior AI Research Engineer to take on a pivotal role in our team, working with Our biggest client. The Responsible AI team at eBay is committed to ensuring fairness, transparency, and accountability in AI systems. We work cross-functionally to embed Responsible AI principles into eBay's AI / ML models, providing tools, documentation, and best practices for ethical AI development.

Experience and skills you need to join us :

• Openness to working in the field of AI governance, responsible AI, or AI / ML model documentation and further expanding your knowledge of these topics.
• Strong research capabilities and experience in applied research.
• Software development and coding skills : Python, clean code, algorithms and data structures.
• Knowledge of machine learning : AI / ML libraries, fundamental problems in ML modeling, types of modeling, popular models, ways of evaluating the models, explainable AI etc.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for working across teams.
• Fluency in Polish and English (you will attend meetings with English speaking clients).
