We are seeking a seasoned OpenText Vendor Invoice Management (VIM) Solution Architect to spearhead the architectural design and delivery of sophisticated invoice automation solutions leveraging OpenText VIM within SAP landscapes. In this pivotal role, you'll bridge business objectives with technical execution, architecting robust and forward-thinking systems that optimize Accounts Payable (AP) workflows and drive digital transformation initiatives.

YOU WILL

  • Take full ownership of the solution architecture throughout the lifecycle of OpenText VIM implementations and upgrades, including seamless integration with SAP ECC or S / 4HANA platforms.
  • Direct technical and functional design discussions to align client needs with optimal VIM setups and customizations based on industry best practices.
  • Create comprehensive solution blueprints and architectural documentation detailing OCR, ICC, Business Center, ArchiveLink, and integration elements.
  • Act as the primary technical expert for both clients and internal teams regarding OpenText VIM capabilities, future developments, and implementation strategies.
  • Provide guidance to technical consultants on system configuration, workflow design, ABAP customizations, and OpenText extensions.
  • Ensure that all solutions adhere to enterprise architectural guidelines, security protocols, and regulatory compliance.
  • Support pre-sales activities by contributing to solution definition, effort estimation, and proposal creation.
  • Serve as the point of escalation for complex technical issues, leading troubleshooting efforts and resolution plans.
  • Keep current with advancements in OpenText and SAP technologies, promoting continuous improvement and the adoption of new technologies.

YOU NEED

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Over seven years of experience working with SAP and OpenText platforms, with at least four years in a solution architect or lead consultant capacity on VIM projects.
  • In-depth knowledge of OpenText VIM's key components : ICC / Business Center, ArchiveLink, OCR, and SAP integration methodologies.
  • A strong grasp of SAP Accounts Payable (AP) and the end-to-end Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes.
  • Solid understanding of SAP workflow mechanisms, ABAP enhancements, and BAPI / BADI frameworks.
  • Demonstrated experience in architecting and deploying VIM solutions within S / 4HANA environments.
  • Excellent skills in client communication, interpersonal interactions, and stakeholder management.

    • Nice to have :

  • Certifications from OpenText and / or SAP related to VIM, P2P, or S / 4HANA.
  • Experience with Extended ECM or other OpenText product suites.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based deployments and integrations with the OpenText Business Network.
  • Knowledge of Agile project management methodologies and DevOps principles.
