The SAP Sales and Distribution Expert - Senior is responsible for operation, support and continuous improvement of SAP Material management and Sales & Distribution modules. He / she will be in daily touch with business key users to ensure good delivery of IT service and their satisfaction. He / she should work closely with them and propose system and process improvements. He / she has to also follow up business requirements from company service desk, define and manage delivery of corrective actions and acceptance from business. He / she will be in charge of delivering small projects (changes) to business users including training and documentation.
The SAP Sales and Distribution Expert - Senior is participating on business / IT projects providing support for part of scope related to his / her domain of expertise and also inputs for project deliverables. He / she would be also responsible for management of partial project delivery or whole small project. He / she will co-operate on interesting SAP projects with international teams.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
Operational Excellence
- Contribute to and communicate the operations and maintenance of SAP systems especially in MM / SD area / modules.
- Follow the IT security and quality processes
- Analyze and map clients’ business requirements, processes and objectives.
- Providing functional expertise, guidance, presentation, and instruction on SAP products to clients.
- Develop necessary product modifications to satisfy clients’ needs.
- Provide specialized system knowledge to allow system or process improvements
- Take responsibility for the technical solution of incidents in area of expertise, reacting quickly to limit impacts and resolve the issue.
- Liaising with other IT teams on bug fixes and solution enhancements
- Prioritize individual incidents or change requests and ensuring the delivery of solutions in line with the operational level agreements to deadlines and quality standards
- Defining and documenting of operation procedures, new functionality and scope of development or customizing
- The delivery of documentation to agreed standards, on time and error free
Customer Relationship
