Junior Customs Specialist

Your responsibilities

  • Helping and supporting tasks within trade compliance and customs optimization – Preferential determination, CN classification of goods, sanction compliance, dual-use, export control
  • Support in verification and implementation of customs procedures in companies from the VELUX Group (EU and non-EU countries)
  • Preparation of applications for Binding Tariff Information
  • Direct support for individual business lines in the field of customs
  • Cooperation with tax authorities from EU countries
  • Preparation of instructions describing the customs process and enabling its implementation
  • Support for environmental tax reporting for VELUX group companies

Our requirements

  • Proven customs experience either within a Customs Authority, Customs broker, Consultancy, or Importer / Exporter
  • Willingness to learn and develop
  • Strong collaborative and team player skills
  • Good knowledge of English (written and spoken)
  • Bachelor’s Degree
