For our client with an SSC located in Kraków, we are looking for a GL Team Leader with German.

Your responsibilities :

Leading the General Ledger team and overseeing daily operations
Preparation and posting of journal entries
Preparation of financial statements
Performing month-end and year-end closure activities
Reconciling intercompany balances
Maintaining General Ledger Master data
Performing balance sheet reconciliations, including cash transactions reconciliation
Analyzing, maintaining, and reporting fixed assets
Ensuring accurate and timely delivery of required financial reports
Updating financial data in databases to ensure accuracy and availability when needed
Cooperating with internal and external auditors
Participating in global improvement projects, initiating process improvements, and assisting with other accounting projects
Assisting senior accountants in the preparation of monthly / yearly closings
Cooperating with the local finance team and other departments

Requirements :

Proven experience in the GL area in an SSC / BPO environment

Advanced German (min. B2) and English (min. B2)

Bachelor39s or Master’s degree, preferably in Finance or Accounting

Strong leadership skills and experience in team management

Knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially strong MS Excel skills

Ability to learn quickly, process-oriented, and a team player
