about-project :

We are looking for a Software Engineer to join the Global CTO Data GDT Wholesale, MSS & ESG team. This team delivers Data Analytics and Machine Learning solutions across both on-premises and cloud environments. The role reports to the Data Validation Lead and involves working closely with stakeholders across IT and business functions

responsibilities :

Develop and implement data validation solutions for batch and near-real-time data ingestion.

Manage data validation frameworks for diverse source types across on-premises and cloud platforms.

Design and maintain microservices-based, containerized DV solutions to ensure scalability.

Automate infrastructure setup and deployment processes to improve efficiency.

Identify bottlenecks and performance issues, recommending optimizations.

Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in the validation process.

Document technical solutions, best practices, and process improvements.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align DV solutions with business needs.

requirements-expected :

Experience in data ingestion and validation techniques.

Proficiency in Python, Bash, or Perl scripting.

Strong knowledge of SQL databases (e.g., Oracle, PostgreSQL, MSSQL).

Understanding of microservices architecture and API-based communication.

Familiarity with messaging systems (Kafka, Pub / Sub, IBM MQ, etc.).

Basic knowledge of networking, system administration, and vulnerability scanning.

Ability to work under pressure and make quick, informed decisions.

Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
