We are seeking a Senior Embedded Developer to join a project focused on software development for IoT product controllers.
By joining us, you become a member of the Embedded Competence Center at Sii - an internal organizational unit bringing together more than 500 specialists across Poland! We are currently working on approximately 100 projects for 50 clients across various industries, including automotive, IoT, telecommunications, and medical. We focus on development and knowledge exchange by organizing Embedded Academies, training, technical mentoring or enabling project changes.
Your responsibilities
Designed and implemented middleware firmware for a comprehensive product platform using CCreated bootloaders for a diverse range of hardware productsEngineered core audio / video processing algorithms for reference applicationsIntegrated Secure Boot mechanisms utilizing MBEDTLS, RSA, and asymmetric encryptionApplied advanced security techniques to mitigate side-channel attacksBuilt unit tests using C++, Google Test frameworkAutomated testing workflows with Python and PytestMaintained and enhanced build systems based on Makefile and CMakeAuthored technical proposals and documentation in ConfluenceCollaborated with cross-functional product teams to deliver rapid supportOperated in a dynamic SCRUM environment with 3-week sprints and regular releases (JIRA)Our requirements
Min. 5 years of experience as an Embedded DeveloperProficiency in C for embedded systems developmentExperience in reviewing complex systems design / code for security best practices and compliance with industry standardsFluency in EnglishExcellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey technical information to a wide variety of audiencesStrong creative problem-solving abilities and decision-making skillsFluent Polish requiredResiding in Poland requiredOptional
Experience in creating bootloaders for various hardware architecturesKnowledge and experience with cryptography and computer securityStrong knowledge of RISC-V architecture and GCC compilerWhat we offer
