Associate Project Manager - Strategic Meetings and Events, EMEA

Job Overview

Manage the operational aspects of M&E projects and programs. Will ensure that all project work is completed in accordance with SOPs, policies, and practices. This position is home based with collaboration with the global team at IQVIA and with clients and healthcare professionals.

This position will require international travel.

Main accountabilities

• Ensure that work is conducted in compliance with standard processes, policies and procedures and meets project timeline metrics.
• Create, track and report on project progress and timelines.
• Produce and distribute status, tracking, financial reports and presentation materials for internal and external team members and senior management.
• Manage project budgets and approval of invoices.
• Responsibility for financial reporting on the project including tracking deliverables and invoicing.
• May participate in proposal development and sales / proposal presentations, providing input into project proposals and RFPs.
• Monitor and coordinate efforts of cross-functional project teams and project resources within and outside the organization.
• Facilitate F2F, Hybrid and Virtual meetings and events for clients in different locations leveraging a variety of platforms.
• Meet with team members on a regular basis regarding project tasks to ensure project milestones are met.
• Self-starter, able to project manage meetings & events end to end with minimal to zero guidance.
• Lead problem solving and resolution efforts.
• Train and mentor junior Project Manager staff
• Partner with other Project Managers to develop and implement process improvements.
• Prepare and present project information at internal and external meetings.

Contract : 1 year FTC (with possibility of extension)
