Function overview
As Operations Specialist at Planet, you'll be responsible for supporting customers in running their business through installing software systems, troubleshooting issues, answering support queries as well as training customer’s staff on software and payments solutions.
What will you do
Implement our property management software and payments products to our customers (hotels and retail stores). This includes system setup, troubleshooting of potential issues as well as training customer’s staff on using our software and platforms
Take ownership of resolving customer inquiries coming through calls and ticketing system (Salesforce)
Communicate articulately and maintain a friendly tone, even in high-pressure situations
Uphold a customer-centric approach, consistently striving to deliver exceptional service
Foster effective communication and collaboration within the team
Be flexible with your schedule, including availability for shifts and weekends
Who you are
You have a passion for learning. We will bring in-depth training for this role, and you will bring your customer and / or hotel or payments industry experience
Possess friendly, polite, and respectful manners, with excellent communication skills, demonstrating a strong service orientation towards our customers
Display a keen affinity for IT and a willingness to embrace new technologies, coupled with logical and analytical thinking for effective problem-solving
Work independently with a structured and organized approach, while also being proactive in driving solutions and improvements
Uphold a sense of responsibility and reliability in all tasks, operating with honesty, loyalty, and integrity at all times
Demonstrate critical thinking abilities, contributing to a helpful work environment and maintaining a strong awareness of quality standards
Professional experience in Hospitality sector (Front office / reservations) would be an advantage
Professional experience in customer facing roles, ideally in payments / finance organizations would be an advantage
Confident knowledge of the German and English language, both written and spoken (at least C1)
