We are looking for a Security Engineer to join our banking client’s team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with software and infrastructure engineers to protect large-scale distributed systems and critical infrastructure. This is a unique opportunity to apply penetration testing and security consulting expertise in a dynamic, high-impact environment within the financial services industry. You will be expected to work on-site in the Warsaw office at least three days a week.
Your responsibilities
Conduct penetration tests and vulnerability assessments on distributed systems built in C++, Python, and GoAnalyse and exploit vulnerabilities in containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.)Build and maintain tools to automate security testing and vulnerability detectionSupport development teams by integrating security practices into the SDLCProvide expert guidance on secure architecture and implementationLiaise with the internal Tech Risk team to ensure security policy complianceOur requirements
Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in security engineering, including penetration testing and vulnerability assessmentsProficiency in programming with C++, Python, or GoSolid understanding of Linux internals and networking fundamentalsFamiliarity with container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and their security implicationsExperience with security tools, frameworks, and automated testing techniquesFluent English communication skills, both written and spokenWhat we offer
