Senior Automation Tester (Rest Assured, Java, Cypress / Playwright)

Project description

The ETSL team is a multi-disciplinary team responsible for developing and / or maintaining the following products :

• Editorial Suite : a tailor-made content management system with specialized editors with which our authors can create educational content and exercises. See the Content types we suport;
• Woodwing Assets : an off-the-shelf Digital Asset Management system in which the assets (pictures, videos and other files) for our educational content are stored;
• Publication Suite : a tailor-made suite for the conversion and routing of Editorial Suite content to the Edubase platform and the various CFA's (Customer facing applications) built on that platform.

Role responsibilities

Drives consensus on quality guidelines and requirements.

Ensures the team produces is in line with these, by creating visibility through mostly automated testing of defects against the guidelines and requirements.

Works with complex and varying assignments with accountability of end results.

Must-have requirements

• API testing (Rest Assured)
• Java 17+
• TS or JS - any minimal expirence
• Cypress or Playwright - any minimal expirence
• Relational or NoSql database knowledge
• Quality and version management (Sonar, Git, Bitbucket)
• Continuous Integration (Git,Maven, Bitbucket, Nexus, Sonar)
• Building and debugging an application locally to verify bugs found during the testing process
• Very good knowledge of the English language
• Can work well in an Agile environment
• Excellent team player
• Very good problem solving and analytical skills
• Good communicator among team members

Nice-to-have requirements

• Pipelines / bash
• Kubernetes / docker / AWS
• BDD / Cucumber

100% remote work

Business travel and its frequency

Occasional (up to 4 in a year, 1-2 days each)
