The Opportunity : In this role, you will lead the delivery of reliable, actionable insights to internal stakeholders, helping to shape data-driven decisions across Astellas Research & Development (R&D). You will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting trial operational data to uncover industry trends, benchmark performance, and drive continuous improvement in drug development processes. With a strong focus on data quality and operational efficiency, you will play a key role in ensuring that best-in-class insights are developed, maintained, and evolved to meet changing business needs. Your analytical mindset and attention to detail will be critical in identifying opportunities that enhance the effectiveness of our R&D operations. • Leading cross-functional collaboration with teams such as Finance, Clinical Operations, and Strategy to align benchmarking efforts with business goals.
• Gathering and analyzing internal and external data to identify industry benchmarks, trends, and performance gaps.
• Designing and executing benchmarking studies on productivity, pipeline success, cost, and operational metrics.
• Develop reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate insights and strategic recommendations.
• Staying current on industry trends while identifying and implementing process improvements for insight generation.
