Dataernance Specialist, Analytics & Sales Platform Stream Your role

Would you like to play a key role in the development of our data management eco system? Are you excited about creating value by enabling data quality and clear definition of data for the business? Do you want to further develop your career in the direction of data management?

We are looking for a self-driven Analyst in the area of data management to drive and coordinate the implementation of Dataernance for UBS Switzerland.

We're looking for someone like you to :

  • Contribute in data management programs, especially on the identification of our most important data elements, ensuring proper data definition, analysis of data flows and data quality and interacting with internal stakeholders and subject matter experts
  • Drive analysis on data element and data output reviews
  • Drive the maintenance of our data sets together with our data owners, including data quality issue remediation work
  • Support data management programs as an PMO
  • Contribute to a culture of data centricity and data quality

Your team

You'll be working in the Analytics & Sales Platform Stream team in Wrocław (remote work possible) which is one of the Foundation Streams in our joint Agile Delivery Organization (ADO) for P&C and GWM ex Americas. Stream's mission is to create impact out of Data and AI - starting from managing the data and reports for the Bank, providing tools for data scientists and data analysts (Data Warehouse), up to disturbing analytical rmendations (Next Best Action) to clients and employees (via Sales CRM). Within ASP, the Data Management Office team manage a wide range of projects and provide analytical capabilities and subject matter expertise to identify impact and solutions for Wealth Management / Personal and Corporate Banking.

Your expertise

  • Higher education (degree from a University, preferably in Business Administration / Banking & Finance / Science), ideally inbination with IT experience (education)
  • Minimum 2-4 years of work experience at a financial institution or in a consultancy with equivalent financial services experience
  • Experience in Data Management & Dataernance
  • Experience in project management, ideally inbination with Business Analysis, at the interface between business and IT
  • Thorough understanding of change management processes related to IT solutions
  • Strong analytical skills (SQL, Alteryx, Power BI)
  • Strongmunication (verbally and written - incl. profound slide writing skills), organizational and conceptual skills
  • Able to cope with a dynamic and changing environment within a Matrix Organization
  • Consensus driven yet assertive to lead projects to successful delivery
  • Excellent MS Office skills, especially profound MS PowerPoint and MS Excel knowledge
  • Excellent English skills (verbally and written)(German would be an asset)
