Security Consultant - Guardium

100% remote workJob type : B2B (with Hays Poland)Length : long-term cooperation

What You will be doing :

  • Lead end-to-end IBM Guardium architecture design, deployment, and upgrade initiatives.
  • Implement whitelisting strategies for application traffic and optimize Guardium performance.
  • Manage SSL certificate lifecycle for STAP agents and GUI components.
  • Design, implement, and fine-tune security monitoring policies.
  • Troubleshoot incidents and manage PMRs with IBM Support.
  • Integrate Guardium with CI / CD pipelines to support DevSecOps practices.
  • Conduct Vulnerability Assessments and Sensitive Data Discovery.
  • Automate onboarding of new database environments into Guardium.
  • Oversee GIM and STAP agent upgrades and standardize configurations across environments.
  • Plan and execute migration to Guardium v12

What we expect from you :

  • Advanced expertise in IBM Guardium Data Activity Monitoring (DAM) – core area of specialization.
  • Experience with GIM (Guardium Installation Manager) and STAP (S-TAP Agent) – agent deployment and monitoring.
  • SSL / TLS certificate management – for STAP and GUI components.
  • CI / CD integration of Guardium – embedding into DevOps pipelines.
  • Automation of onboarding processes for new database environments – streamlining deployment.
  • Leading complex upgrade projects – demonstrated experience in managing large-scale infrastructure changes.
