We are an international, Polish-American company called 300Brains , operating in the area of Information Technology with the aim of supporting international companies, primarily startups, in the implementation of their brilliant ideas.

We’re looking for a skilled Kotlin Backend Developer to join an international team working on a distributed ledger-based platform for the insurance industry. You’ll play a key role in maintaining and expanding a microservices-based backend built fully in Kotlin.

What you’ll do :

Design, develop, and maintain Kotlin microservices

Collaborate within a Scrum team : participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives

Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code

Take part in code reviews and propose architectural improvements

Interact with RESTful APIs and smart contract logic

Contribute to technical documentation and deployment processes

Required skills :

2+ years of commercial Kotlin experience or 3+ years of Java with strong willingness to transition to Kotlin

Solid understanding of backend development (microservices, REST APIs)

Familiarity with testing methodologies (unit & integration tests)

Strong communication skills in English (spoken and written)

Nice to have :

Knowledge of Distributed Ledger Technology or blockchain (Corda in particular)

Experience with cloud environments (GCP preferred), Docker, or Kubernetes

Familiarity with frontend tech (JS / React) is a plus for cross-functional collaboration
