IT Operation Specialist – Business-Critical Applications

Location : Poland (Gdańsk preferred – hybrid model)

Type : B2B Contract

On-call rotation may be required

We are looking for an experienced IT Operation Specialist to join a critical banking project, supporting the stability and performance of business-critical applications. This is a hands-on operational role requiring a proactive mindset, analytical thinking, and collaboration across application, infrastructure, and development teams.

Your responsibilities will include :

Handling incidents, service requests, and production inquiries,
Investigating production issues and analyzing logs and system performance,
Participating in deployment planning, rehearsal, execution, and post-verification,
Driving service improvements and proposing automation solutions,
Supporting new release planning and test validation,
Maintaining end-to-end understanding of technical and business flows.

Requirements :

Degree in IT or equivalent hands-on experience,

Strong understanding of production systems, deployment, monitoring, and logging,

Experience with incident, change, and problem management (ITIL preferred),

Familiarity with WebLogic, SQL, Kubernetes, Kafka, IBM MQ, Linux (nice to have),

Banking or payments industry background (nice to have).
