In your role of Patient Journey Manager Oncology you will oversee the collaboration and engagement with key accounts / institutions and stakeholders in the field of hematology to drive innovative business solutions that enhance patient access to medicine.
This will involve identifying obstacles that hinder effective product utilization within specific institutions and formulating and implementing strategic plans to overcome these challenges.
Key Responsibilities :
Discover & Partner
Build strategic, collaborative external business relationships with targeted institutional key stakeholders; engage and partner to develop patient-focused solutions to optimize the patient journey within hospital and / or patient support program (PSP) / HSS.
Serve as the primary field-based point of contact for a portfolio of cancer care sites, facilitating successful GSK product integration and utilization.
Investigate, uncover and map current patient models of care for assigned institutions : site-specific and / or provincial treatment pathway processes, policies, protocols and workflows for hematology medicines, institutional key influencers / decision makers, systems / software integration and considerations for optimal PSP implementation.
Identify clinical, economic and operational gaps and barriers and lead the development and implementation of innovative solutions to optimize patient access and outcomes.
Implement
Ensure launch success by optimizing the patient journey and building solutions that are at the intersection of patient journey pain points, brand priorities and health systems barriers.
Demonstrate leadership in gathering and sharing timely insights from external healthcare community that inform and shape cross-functional activities.
Support decision making within institutions that drive operational integration of new treatments and optimal care pathway placement aligned to approved label.
Optimize
Evaluate PSP customer experience for each assigned institution and communicates performance on both quarterly and on an “as needed” basis. Identifies regional trends and contributes insights to PSP Lead / Commercial team.
Understand each institution and support them during transitional periods (e.g. obtention of drug public coverage)
Conduct an in-depth analysis to uncover care gaps, local barriers and key customer needs to drive strategic objectives for the institutions.
Enhance operational excellence and innovation to optimize care path for patients receiving treatment, identifying process optimizations and insights as PSP evolves.
Minimum Qualifications
5+ years of experience in hematology / oncology and strategic account management working with high influence key stakeholders in hospital / institutional setting.
Strong background in pharmaceutical industry, life sciences or medical / nursing.
Project management experience, including superior organization and planning skills.
Proven ability to build external relationships quickly and credibly and influence key decision makers.
Strong business acumen and sense of urgency.
Collaborative mindset.
Strength in navigating the unknown – confidence to seek, uncover and understand current state within assigned institutions; creativity and drive to forge an optimal path to desired state.
Self-motivated, accountable, passionate, committed, invested in the business.
Strength in challenging both self and the status quo.
Excellent communication, customer engagement skills and presentation skills.
Solutions-oriented, with the ability to offer creative options for problem solving.
Demonstrate the highest levels of governance and comply with GSK policies and procedures, applicable healthcare laws and regulations.
Ability to travel within Poland 30-40%, including overnight travel.
A valid driver’s license and safe driving record.
University degree, health sciences or business administration preferable.
Preferred Qualifications
Advanced degree.
Thorough understanding of hematology markets (MM knowledge would be a big asset) and disease landscapes.
Established business relationships with HCPs and other stakeholders within hematology / oncology.
Experience working in markets with complex reimbursement and treatment pathways.
Product launch experience in a new therapeutic area (TA).
