Your responsibilities

leading system improvement initiatives : taking charge of the improvement and development of the IFRS 17 infrastructure for our life and health business within ERGO Group, ensuring it meets the highest standards of efficiency and effectiveness
leading maintenance activities : acting as the principal liaison for system users, overseeing the resolution of bugs, managing access rights, and facilitating comprehensive training sessions on system functionalities. Proactively communicating updates to users and drive the continuous enhancement of the user manual to ensure it aligns with the latest system developments and best practices
driving requirement alignment : collaborating with ERGO life and health entities to align requirements for the central IFRS 17 systems, ensuring that our solutions meet the diverse needs of the organization
collaborating with IT : working closely with IT departments to oversee the implementation and development of new features for the central IFRS 17 system landscape, leveraging your expertise to guide successful project outcomes
overseeing testing activities : creating and coordinating comprehensive testing strategies, development, and release plans with various stakeholders, ensuring that all systems function seamlessly and meet quality standards
optimizing global business processes : utilizing your analytical skills to optimize global business processes and conduct in-depth data analyses, driving continuous improvement and operational excellence

Our requirements

advanced level of English (C1)

University degree in Degree in Mathematics, Business Mathematics or a comparable qualification

further training as an actuary or comparable qualifications

professional experience as a test manager or product owner or comparable experience

technical proficiency

strong analytical thinking

ability to work in a team

strong communication skills

willingness to think and act independently, autonomously and entrepreneurially

willingness to develop and bring in own ideas

resilience and openness to change and innovative working methods

ability to effectively perform tasks with support from the team

Optional

professional experience in project work

knowledge of life or health insurance business

About the role

In this role, you will be a senior member of our dynamic team as a Product Owner within the central reserving division at ERGO Group to manage the central IFRS 17 system landscape specifically for cash flows projections. In this pivotal role, leading initiatives that shape the future of our life and health business, driving innovation and excellence.
