Your responsibilities

  • The Technology Sales Manager (TSM) is accountable for sales revenue in line with targets in the assigned area. This person is a part of the development and implementation of the sub-regional strategy, providing market input from the area. The TSM will fine tune the targets and KPIs for the sales team in co-operation with the sales manager throughout the planning cycle. This person will hire, lead and support the sales team in the territory to ensure that all sales efforts are aligned. The TSM will also work closely with the other functions that support the sales cycle, such as marketing, distribution, and sales engineering and to ensure a strong team-collaboration within the assigned area. This person is a true brand ambassador for the business to the market.
  • Apart from above mentioned tasks, the responsibilities of the role include :
  • Strategy & planning :
  • Establish and nurture relationships with key stakeholders (distributors, system integrators, end customers and technology partners)
  • Interact with clients indirectly through team, or directly if capacity allows
  • Manage project pipeline and handle project pricing within set guidelines
  • Provide monthly input and forecast, including performances and other initiatives
  • Monitor processes that are in place to improve efficiency of the assigned area
  • Participate in trade shows and exhibitions and drive follow up activities to get maximum return of sales
  • Building & leading the team :
  • Coach, hire and lead a team of people made up of KAMs, and ISAMs
  • Responsible for performance management for the direct reports, identifying areas of development and learning for individuals
  • Sets team goals / SMART KPIs and monitor individual contribution (performance) to the goals
  • Take decisions in complex sales situations and address conflicts and underperformance in line with our core values
  • Shares ideas and best practice within the team and the organization

Employer requirements

  • Degree in Business Administration or / and Engineering
  • 5+ years of sales and management experience in B2B
  • Proven track record of hitting and exceeding quarterly revenue expectations
  • Understand the marketing landscape, account and strategic planning and complex sales negotiation
  • Highly motivated, proactive and ready to challenge the status quo
  • High integrity and self-awareness, able to professionally handle conflicts with customers or colleagues
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Good organizational and follow-through skills
  • Salesforce knowledge is a plus
  • Fluency in Polish and English language, written and spoken
