Project Buyer

The person hired for this position will be responsible for :

• You work as a project purchaser on future topics
• Electromobility, autonomous driving and highly efficient diesel technologies represent the central pillars of our project landscape
• As a project purchaser, you accompany the projects from the early concept phase to the SOP
• You are responsible for a spectrum of component scopes, which you achieve in cross-functional teams in terms of costs, time and quality
• You are the central interface partner to development, sales, finance, quality, logistics and production
• In daily business, you actively support the creation and evaluation of concepts and negotiate changes of your components and tooling's with the suppliers during the project period in order to enable optimal material costs at the start of serial production
• You independently prepare requests for decisions of changes for project / group committees within the framework of the component responsibility assigned to you and represent it in decision-making committees
• Regular business trips to partners within the Group and to suppliers will help you to achieve your goals
