Role Overview

This person will report to Settlement Manager and support functions for payment processing for Planet’s acquiring business. Settlement Resource helps the business to reconcile transactions across the general ledger and sub-ledgers together with other key accounts.

What you will do

• Analyse and resolve exceptions, evaluate and escalate risk items to management and Business partners
• Reconciling accounts, processing adjustments, assisting with monthly invoicing, as well as tracking financial trends and forecasting.
• General ledger reconciliations. Account reconciliations such as bank, clearing, billings etc.
• Performing daily financial transactions such as verifying, calculating and posting accounts receivable data.
• Resolving any returns and out of balance conditions.
• Maintain accuracy of accounting records and controls
• Prepare accounting settlement entries and account reconciliations;
• Identify automation and improvement opportunities; and work with Product & Tech and Change team to guide the implementation of improvements
