Finance Team Manager

Your responsibilities
- Be fully responsible / accountable for all Switzerland technical accounting output in regards to quality, timeliness, improvements and escalations
- Organize and supervise current operations so that the team meets our Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and follows the agreed process
- Ensure successful deployment and administration of finance systems tools (account reconciliation, month end checklist, issue tracking and remediation) to finance and supported countries
- Provide expertise for continuous monitoring, assessment and improvement of key business processes and internal controls impacting the organization
- Identify key focus areas with respect to assessment of their related risks and controls, responsible for providing requirements and subject matter expertise from accounting / finance standpoint, process design and expertise to ensure knowledge transfer and training
- Base on accounting / finance (insurance direct billing) and end to end process knowledge, control financial impact of team deliverables by implementing process changes correcting behaviors and build colleagues awareness and knowledge
- Produce, analyze and share metrics and reports that describe the productivity and quality of the team's work
- Ensure that processes are documented and that knowledge is captured, documented and shared within the team
- Delegate work in a way that ensures that all colleagues have a clear understanding of their tasks, responsibilities, client requirements and priorities
- Work closely with Stakeholders to ensure that all work is carried out in a timely manner and to a high standard
- Check work from other team members, including regular spot checks to ensure quality is high
- Install controls such that it can be proactively ensured that all tasks are completed on time
Our requirements
University degree or equivalent (specialization in accounting / economics / finance)Minimum 3 years of accounting / finance / controllership experienceAt least 3 years of experience in managing group of 10 +peopleKnowledge of insurance (accounting) industry is a plusEnglish level : C1 or higherKnowledge of German will be an assetProven track record to manage multiple tasks at a time while paying strict attention to detailsVery good command of MS Office tools (especially Excel)Ability to make decisions and improvements based on metricsStrong problem solving skillsBasic knowledge of project management principlesStrong ability to delegate tasks and execute resultsBenefits
