Work model : elastic hybrid from Gdańsk (2 day per week from the office)

Project

You will be involved in a financial project focused on ensuring IT compliance , managing security risks , and supporting regulatory requirements (ECB, DORA, etc.) within a DevOps environment . The project aims to maintain high standards of IT security and compliance across critical banking applications .

Responsibilities you'll have

  • Own and manage  IT risk workflows, including daily risk case handling and coordination across teams.
  • Support  application specialists in remediating compliance issues such as obsolete software , security vulnerabilities , and non-compliant components.
  • Handle and track  IT security tasks including certificate management , penetration testing , cryptographic standards, and audit follow-ups.
  • Coordinate activities and  remediation plans for software and infrastructure issues (e.g. unsupported Java / Python versions, EOL systems, missing monitoring ).
  • Act as a liaison for actions stemming from  audits (e.g. PwC ), internal vulnerability assessments ( IVC ), and InfoSec -driven initiatives.
  • Drive and follow up on tasks across areas like  ARP , ITSBC , BTS Dashboard , QA / Test compliance , IRMA , IIQ onboarding , and more.
  • Work closely with  stakeholders and ensure that all IT and compliance tasks are actively monitored and executed .

    • Expected competences and knowledge

  • Solid understanding of  IT infrastructure , security protocols , and networking fundamentals.
  • Experience with  IT risk and compliance processes, including vulnerability scanning and risk remediation .
  • Ability to interpret and execute on  compliance requirements from regulators ( ECB , DORA ) and internal InfoSec teams.
  • Familiarity with tools and processes related to  lifecycle management , application security , and audit tracking.
  • Proactive mindset with strong organizational and coordination skills.
  • Capable of handling multiple parallel streams of  technical tasks with minimal supervision .
