About the project
We are looking for a hands-on Production Engineer to join our banking client’s team and take ownership of maintaining, migrating, and evolving live production environments. This role focuses less on writing new code and more on ensuring the stability, availability, and performance of critical systems. You will be responsible for infrastructure configuration, client traffic management, and ensuring seamless updates in a high-availability environment.
Your responsibilities
Manage, monitor, and maintain live production systems and infrastructurePerform system migrations and infrastructure updatesConfigure and optimize HA Proxy, Kong, and Apache for traffic routing and load balancingMonitor performance and availability of services using industry-standard toolsMaintain infrastructure as code using Terraform and GitLabAdminister artifact repositories such as Sonatype Nexus or JFrog ArtifactoryOur requirements
A minimum of 3 years of experience as an engineer with scripting skills in PythonSolid, hands-on experience with AWS withProficiency in infrastructure as code and CI / CD toolsStrong background in Linux system administration and networkingPractical knowledge of managing high-availability environments and service performanceExperience with HA Proxy, Kong, and similar proxy / load balancing toolsFluency in English, both spoken and writtenOpen to hybrid work - 4 days per week in the officeWhat we offer
