About the project

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to be part of one of our internal team. This role will combines strong technical expertise with the ability to translate business needs into modern, scalable, and maintainable software solutions.

Your responsibilities

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will guide technical directions and ensure best practices in agile delivery, cloud architecture, and productization. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to build reliable, cloud-native systems that drive business value.

Our requirements

  • You can translate and split business requirements into technical requirements
  • You have strong programming skills in Kotlin and Spring Boot with the ability of writing clean, testable, documented and maintainable code
  • You have experience in building cloud native software following a microservices architecture (preferably AWS with IaC in Terraform)
  • You know how to drive agile software development and have experience in productization
  • You are familiar with some of the following. Messaging systems (MQTT, IoT Core, HiveMQ), databases (SQL & NoSQL, preferably MongoDB), software containerization (Docker, ECS), stream processing, system monitoring / observability
  • You are familiar with version control systems (Git) and CI / CD processes and practices
  • Experience in Java and Python considered a plus, but not mandatory
  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or another relevant field is highly valued, but not compulsory
  • Experience or knowledge of the energy sector is considered a plus, but is not required
  • In our work things can change fast, so you are flexible to changes in priorities
  • You are a team player, but also able to work on your own projects
  • The team language is English, which you speak and write fluently
  • Ability to work 2 days a week in the Wroclaw Office (Strzegomska)
