We’re looking for a hands-on Senior Platform Engineer to help us build a developer platform and improve the developer experience for our R&D teams.

This is not an infrastructure management role in disguise, but infrastructure is still part of the picture. You will be designing and building a developer platform that enables self-service for common R&D needs such as CI / CD pipelines, Kubernetes, cloud infrastructure and observability.

You’ll play a key role in shaping the architecture, building golden paths, and driving standardisation across teams. This calls for both technical depth and the confidence to lead conversations and influence direction. You will have support of experienced engineers and stakeholders ready to collaborate and build this capability with you.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify best practices for CI / CD and infrastructure automation, and implement shared components and patterns that enable teams to build their own pipelines in a consistent, scalable way.
• Collaborate closely with WithSecure R&D teams to ensure platform solutions align with both technical and business needs.
• Prepare and deliver technical training sessions, workshops, and documentation to upskill R&D teams on platform tools, workflows, and best practices.
• Act as a subject matter expert and internal consultant, supporting teams in adopting platform solutions effectively.
• Contribute to strategic planning and roadmap development for platform engineering initiatives.
• Mentor and support junior engineers, fostering a culture of learning and technical excellence.
