Opis pracy

Responsibilities

  • Expand and manage RTB House bare-metal server infrastructure;
  • Support developers teams;
  • Keep security on servers tight - according to the SEC team guidelines;
  • Manage documentation;
  • Do task automation.

Key selling points

  • You will be managing infrastructure that process 20 million of HTTP requests per second - Thousands of servers.
  • Several servers locations all around the globe.
  • Open Compute Project (OCP) hardware.

    • Must-have skills & competencies

  • Docker
  • Understanding of Linux networking innerworkings : iptables, bridging, bonding, network namespaces, VPNs etc.
  • Understanding of Linux boot process and disks encryption tools;
  • Diagnose hardware and processes via linux console;
  • Easily write simple scripts (in one of the : Bash, Perl, Python, Ruby, Go);
  • Ability to quickly learn new tools and skills.

    • Coachable / nice to have skills & competencies

  • RHCE;
  • BGP (Bird , FRR, GoBGP);
  • Puppet;
  • Kubernetes.
