Responsibilities : Leadership
- Be able to take charge of, inspire and influence a team of approximately 10 employees
- Actively connect with your people by regular one-on-ones, team meetings or other and champion employee engagement
- Develop top talents in the team, with support of the P2P Manager, by succession planning process, having robust performance / coaching conversations, and facilitating development sessions
- Set the goals for the team supporting delivery of EBS Strategy in operational area
- Work as part of the EBS management team to make the EBS a great place to work for all employees
- Identify and recruit top talents
- Lead by example in line with Elanco Values (Integrity, Respect, Excellence).
- Act as a backup for Manager
Process, Governance, Stakeholder Management
Leads invoice processing team in an effective and efficient manner to ensure compliance with relevant policies, procedures, systems, and financial controlsOversees daily operations for a team of approximately 10 people.Participate in creation of daily split of invoices & verifies the progress of the workAct as the point of escalation to resolve invoice processing and posting issues in a timely manner and ensures all queries are dealt with correctly and efficiently (SPOC)Support General Accounting’s month end / year end closing procedures including general ledger reconciliations and accruals, Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) compliance and financial auditsEstablish strong collaboration and relationships with business counterparts, vendors, Global Process Owners (GPO), and other partners of the EBS organizationIdentify and implement process change improvements (in coordination with the P2P GPO)Ensure processes and policies are being followed by performing routine reviews and audits of the teams as they provide services to customersExecute the governance process to evaluate and implement localization / customizationSupport internal and external auditors during audits and other data inquiriesUnderstand system architecture, including ERP, add-ons, enablers, and interfacesCoordinate and support system implementations and testing with transactional resourcesSupport the team with Operational tasks as it is required on a daily basisWhat You Need to Succeed (minimum qualifications) :
University degree (Bachelors or equivalent)Lean / Six Sigma exposure or equivalent desiredAt least 4 years of experience in SSC environmentAbility to work in global team environment and communicate effectively with both internal business partners of all levels & disciplines as well as external team membersStrong leadership and collaboration skills with ability to build effective relationships and influence peers and key stakeholders.Ability to proactively & effectively resolve people, process and technology problemsAbility to effectively prioritize and complete key tasks and deliverablesAble to respond flexibly to customer needs, effectively managing expectationsAttentive to details to ensure compliance and accurate reporting.Experience of working to tight deadlines and analyzing multiple entities.Flexibility in adapting to a non-routine and fast paced environment.Strong SAP knowledge, Concur and Ariba – is a plusSAP implementation experience is a plusProficient in MS Office tools – advanced in Excel,Proficient in English is mandatory; multi-lingual is a plus, but not requireWhat will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications) :
Knowledge and understanding of P2P functions with a minimum of three years' experience in a similar role, preferably in a SSC organizationStrong knowledge of SAP and Ariba Procurement platform; experience and knowledge of several of the Ariba modules including Sourcing, Contracting, Supplier Lifecycle Management and Performance, Procurement and Spend ReportingExcellent understanding of the critical success factors for ESC as reliable, effective and efficient business service providerOperational awareness of all applicable US SOX & operational controls for the area and ability to demonstrate a strong compliance-oriented mindsetDemonstrate excellence in all interactions with internal customers & business partnersActively work with core team members, internal customers / business partners, and distribution team members to build effective working relationshipsDemonstrate a strong Continuous Improvement oriented approachAdditional Information :
