What will you do?
- Lead the formation of a brand-new engineering team.nbsp;
- Design, build, and evolve core internal tools and platforms.nbsp;
- Collaborate closely with product, finance, legal, and data stakeholders.nbsp;
- Drive architectural decisions and establish best practices from the ground up.nbsp;
- Foster a culture of experimentation, innovation, and technical ownership.nbsp;
- Coach and mentor a small but growing team of engineers.nbsp;
- Define team goals and outcomes through clear, measurable OKRs.nbsp;
- Navigate ambiguity and drive execution in a zero-to-one setting.nbsp;
- Represent the engineering voice in high-level strategic discussions.nbsp;
- Drive technical review of design documents, code review, prioritization of development roadmap, and fixes.nbsp;
- Work with, and influence, cross-functional stakeholders within Hippo, e.g. Product, Design, QA, and Finance.nbsp;
- Mentor and lead other engineers, develop them for higher impact and teamwork.nbsp;
- With a data-driven approach, show technical leadership, focusing on excellent execution and high-quality software delivery.nbsp;
- Work with teams in our global locations across the US and Poland.nbsp;
