Opis pracyMaster’s degree in chemistry, materials science, or a related field. 2 to 5 years of experience in the industry, preferably in chemical engineering or materials science. Ideally : expertise in polyurethane chemistry, including formulations, processing, and application. Experience in industrial production environments. Fluent in English . French, Spanish, or German is a plus. Willing to travel frequently to European production sites. Hands-on approach, capable of working on-site in production environments. Reponsibilities
- Supervise polyurethane foam formulations across multiple production lines.
- Conduct on-site trials and oversee the deployment of new formulations in factories.
- Work closely with operational teams to optimize chemical processes and ensure compliance with industry regulations, including REACH and fire retardant standards.
- Provide technical support for production teams, assisting with troubleshooting and process improvement.
- Collaborate with the Global R&D team and manage key R&D projects related to polyurethane foam.
- Ensure compliance with environmental and quality certifications, such as C2C and BASTA.
- Maintain close interaction with suppliers and purchasing teams for raw materials, including MDI, polyols, surfactants, and fire retardants.
- Regular travel to production sites, approximately every two weeks, across France, Spain, and Germany.
