Data Engineer - PySpark, DataBricks, Azure Your role

We're looking for a Data Engineer to :

  • transform data into valuable insights that inform business decisions, making use of our internal

data platforms and applying appropriate analytical techniques

  • engineer easily maintainable and reliable data pipelines for sourcing, processing, distributing, and storing data in different ways, using data platform infrastructure effectively
  • ensure the quality, security, reliability, andpliance of our solutions by applying our digital

    • principles and implementing both functional and non-functional requirements.

  • build observability into our solutions, monitor production health, help to resolve incidents, and

    • remediate the root cause of risks and issues

  • understand, represent, and advocate for client needs.

    In our agile operating model, crews are aligned to larger products and services fulfilling client needs and epass multiple autonomous pods. You'll be working in the GOTO-HR team in Krakow Poland focusing on delivering solutions to enable and support Payroll Operations teams in Europe and America Region.

    Your expertise

  • Bachelors or equivalent degree focusing onputer Science
  • prehensive understanding and ability to apply data engineering techniques
  • Curious to learn new technologies and practices, reuse strategic platforms and standards, evaluate

    • options, and make decisions with long-term sustainability in mind

  • Strongmunicator, from making presentations to technical writing
  • Ability to explainplex functionality in Layman terms
  • Fluent in English
  • Experience working with HR ERP application ( anyone of Fusion, Peoplesoft, Oracle HCM , etc. ) and with good understanding of data models used in HR applications.
  • Relevant experience working on pyspark dataframes for data manipulation / transformation.
