The Treasury Specialist will be responsible for monitoring payments, cashflows and revenue. Will also be reporting payment issues and working directly with banks on fixing them. Treasury specialist facilitates daily operations in close collaboration with teams based in Gdansk and Houston.
Your responsibilities
- Determine daily cash position for domestic and international bank accounts and oversee case transactions to ensure adequate liquidity
- Initiate and oversee manual outgoing vendor and intercompany payments as needed
- Prepare foreign exchange (FX) trades for foreign currency account funding and foreign currency vendor payments and communicate with FX traders to determine appropriate rates for execution
- Work closely with accounts payable, corporate accounting and supply chain regarding any vendor payment returns
- Process queries, issues and open items from the business in a timely and service-minded manner
- Communicate and maintain strong relationships with banks in Company’s bank group
- Assist with bank account openings / closings, bank signatory maintenance and periodic bank KYC requests
- Assists other Treasury Specialists and Sr. Treasury Analyst with Kyriba workstation maintenance
- Actively monitors treasury’s shared inbox and provide prompt responses
- Assist in providing supporting information and documentation to internal and external audit teams, including SOX reporting and compliance
- Deliver service in line with agreed SOPs, controls, practice, policies and procedures
- Identify, contribute towards and drive business improvement initiatives and optimise current practices, processes and procedures
