HR Learning & Service Management. Within Volvo Group Digital & IT, Technology, Core Platform Area SAP & Business Admin and Solution Center HR & Other HQ Core Systems, you will be part of a global and diverse team of highly skilled professionals. The Learning & Service Management group consists of two product teams : Learning & People Development and HR Service Management.

Take the chance to grow as an IT Solution Engineer. In this position you will be reporting in the line to the Digital Product Area Owner. You will be a member of a dynamic and professional product team, led by the Digital Product Owner for the Learning and People Development product. This team consists of members from Sweden and Poland. The scope is to deliver digital business capabilities for the entire Volvo Group and to external retail organizations. There are many business stakeholders in People Services, Volvo Group University and in the brand organizations for this team to support.

Position description We need to strengthen this product team with a Senior Solution Engineer. Together with another Senior Solution Engineer your work will include investigating new business requirements, discovering ways to solve business needs, configuring the current solutions, and securing their quality, security and integrity. You will be a key person, interacting with the Digital Product Manager and with business subject matter experts, buyers and third‑party suppliers. You will also be collaborating with other internal stakeholders within the IT organization. As a member of a stable team, you will overlap and support other IT professionals to deliver on the vision and objectives established. For this product team there is one major Learning Management System (LMS) and there are multiple other commercial solutions in the scope for this team. And, as technologies advance, there are constant new opportunities to discover and analyze. In this position it will be important to understand, challenge and collaborate with stakeholders – to feel empathic concern, break down and structure requirements, clarify business goals and to act a bridge between business and IT technology. As of today, most things are managed through a prioritized backlog of deliveries in the product. But, for larger projects, there may also be work in separate project organizations outside of the product team.

Wanted profile You need to have knowledge of common technologies, such as Cloud, AI, MS Azure, MS O365, etc. If you have experience around HR, Learning and People Development it is a big plus. From an IT perspective, it is beneficial to have worked with the commercial solution offered by Cornerstone. Experience in agile ways of working and the backlog tool MS Azure DevOps is beneficial. Besides knowledge and experience, you need to have a curious mindset to learn about emerging IT technologies. You need to have a professional approach to be trusted by business stakeholders to be consulted about their business needs on a continuous basis. It is essential that you have a structured and analytical approach to your work, to understand and be well understood, and for decision‑makers to make sound decisions, based on options and recommendations presented to them. You need to function well in a team context but also be able to work autonomously.

• A minimum of B.Sc. in Information Technology, Engineering or equivalent
• At least 5 years of experience with analytical work in the IT domain
• Have analytical, critical thinking and problem‑solving abilities
• Knowledge about Volvo Group and the HR area are beneficial
• Knowledge about Learning and People Development is a plus
• Proficiency in written and spoken English
• Be precise and meticulous in the work with core configurations
• Be clear and precise in presentation and documentation
• Understand how to structure needs and work with stakeholders
• A healthy approach to risk‑taking and willingness to explore new ways
