Software Engineer MID / SENIOR - Hybrid 2x month (Kraków) @ ITMatch

Our client, a company that transforms the way people experience travel by providing seamless, innovative, and data-driven solutions for booking tours, activities, and attractions worldwide - is opening an RnD in Poland! With over 200 engineers already on board based in Europe (no USA meetings! : )) and over 30 who joined us in Poland, we are further growing our team. The product has been growing rapidly achieving up to 50% growth in the recent years.

While we give big flexibility (our hynrid model requires presence in the office 2x per month) we will be accepting candidates who are based in Kraków (and nearby) or are open to rellocate. We do not provide working permit of any kind. You will be hired directly by our client, not via itMatch.

Perks for employees include additional holidays (we don't work in the last week of December!) and the compensation includes  base salary as well as bonuses . You could also participate in collaboration weeks, working from various offices based in different countries!

Recruitment process (remotely) :

1) Call with a recruiter - 30 min

2) Technical screen - coding + computer science fundamentals - 1h

3) Panel - 3-4 interviews :

• 2x technical coding + system design - 2h
• cultural fit - 1h
• Proven experience in backend development with Java and Spring - minimum 2 years, preferably working for a product company.
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture and API development.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes and cloud platforms (AWS preferred).
• Exposure to GraphQL is a plus.
• Experience working with frontend technologies (React, TypeScript) is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive mindset.
