Job Description

We are looking for a skilled System Administrator to join our team and take part in the maintenance, configuration, administration, and development of Linux-based database systems.

Main Tasks :

installation and maintenance on the system (databases)
handling network problems on Linux systems
understanding of operation and support on Kubernetes
monitoring, recognising and reacting to problems

Qualifications

Proven experience in Linux system administration, preferably with Debian.

Solve non-trivial tasks with the help of scripts in Bash, Perl or Python.

Monitoring with Prometheus and Grafana.

git / familiar with gitOps workflows

Container and Kubernetes Fundamentals

Designing and operating HA / distributed systems.

Good knowledge in configuration management / automation with puppet and / or ansible.

In-depth knowledge of networking.

Database fundamentals (MariaDB, Redis).
