Senior Accountant

For our client - SSC located in Warsaw we are looking for candidates for the position of :

Senior Accountant

Main Duties :

Contribute proactively to monthly and year-end closing processes.

Prepare comprehensive financial reports and statutory statements.

Calculate a range of taxes (CIT, VAT, ORDU, IFT-2R).

Oversee and assist in creating documentation related to withholding tax.

Maintain and enhance internal control frameworks, including spotting potential risk areas.

Compile reports for external parties, including regulatory and public institutions.

Review, analyse, and reconcile general ledger and subsidiary accounts; ensure accuracy and completeness of accounting postings as well as revenue and cost records.

Take part in internal and external audits.

Independently manage initiatives such as ERP implementations and the rollout of new accounting procedures and processes.

Provide guidance to the business on tax and accounting issues.

Support the Accounting Manager

Execute additional tasks delegated by the supervisor.

What We Are Looking For :

Proven experience in preparing full financial statements.

Background in preparing CIT, VAT, and IFT-2R tax filings.

Strong understanding of tax legislation (CIT / VAT / WHT).

Solid knowledge of accounting standards and rules.

High proficiency in Excel.

English language skills at B2 level.

University degree, preferably in finance, accounting, or economics.
