Our modern tech stack includes Python / Django, React / TypeScript, PostgreSQL, Redis, Elasticsearch / OpenSearch, S3, ECS, and Lambda. We work in Agile Scrum squads with strong CI / CD, Infrastructure as Code, and security-first practices.

Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior Backend Developer to join our product engineering team. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys building strong, scalable, and secure backend systems. As a senior engineer, you will take ownership of complex technical tasks and help design, build, and maintain core features of our platform.

You will focus mainly on server-side development, from design to implementation. You will also review code, share knowledge, and support the technical growth of the team.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain backend features and services with Python and Django.
• Solve difficult problems in data modeling, API design, performance, and distributed systems.
• Write clean, well-tested code and support other engineers with reviews and advice.
• Follow and improve best practices in coding, testing, CI / CD, and system design.
• Work closely with Product Managers, Frontend Engineers, and other stakeholders.
• Help plan the technical roadmap with input on effort, risks, and feasibility.
• Take part in technical discussions and architectural decisions.
• Improve performance in applications, databases, and system infrastructure.
