Pricing and Portfolio Coordinator

Position purpose :

The incumbent’s role is to be an agile agent, who extensively monitors the market / categories (pricing, portfolio & marketing initiatives) and seeks for the recent trends / product debuts. This person also alerts on competitive activities, analyzes their reasoning and supplies teams with information on recent marketing events (promotions, launches, LEPs, extensions). Additionally the incumbent is reponsible for preparing internal compliance documents (BAP / MEMO) with regards to pricing decisions.

What will you do - Responsibilities :

• Independently monitors prices and pricing strategies within local competitive environment - in multiple categories and segments, through all the retail channels. Builds regular reports and analysis. Alerts marketing and sales teams on observed changes, repositionings and new launches. Documents pricing and marketing events within internal systems
• Identifies resources and develops tools for regular price / marketing activities tracking. Prepares own, proactively-built studies on price / SOM relation with regards to JTI's and competitive brands. Creates competitive products' dossiers and ad hoc on-demand analysis on emerging topics
• Observes and analyzes portfolio changes / activities across the market categories / segments. Seeks for trends and insights in order to support launching the initiatives allowing JTI to gain competitive advantage and / or protect JTI business from commercial perspective. Builds own analysis and recommendations
• Prepares internal compliance documents - creates pricing MEMO / BAPs, coordinates the alignment process and pre-submission validation / checks. Cooperates with the Finance team on calculations / volume change estimations and MEMO / BAP coordinators on routing and best practises
• Collaborates with regional pricing / portfolio intelligence managers. Delivers news and detail information on market events, new launches and latest portfolio trends. Retrieves and manages information on similar moves and learnings coming from other markets that can be useful to adapt in Poland
• Complies with JTI Policies & Procedures & Processes and performs J-SOX controls as specified in the J-SOX Global Reference Model
