Your tasks

  • Provides leadership and direction to the management of assets, both hardware and software, with clear policies and procedures that deliver quality services, in consultation with asset owners / managers
  • Ensure efficient management, optimization, and compliance of software licenses across the organization, mitigating legal and financial risks
  • Aims to maximize the value derived from software investments
  • Strategically manage hardware and software assets, developing and implementing innovative approaches to optimize asset utilization and minimize risks
  • Create and enforce robust policies and procedures tailored to efficient asset management, collaborating with stakeholders for seamless implementation
  • Supervise the configuration management process, ensuring accurate documentation and control of configuration items while maintaining consistency
  • Development and Maintenance of a CMDB (Configuration Management Database) within the ITSM tool
  • Continuously improve service delivery by leveraging effective asset management strategies to enhance operational efficiency and quality
  • Conduct regular assessments of software licenses to ensure compliance
  • Negotiates favorable licensing agreements
  • Develop and implement license management policies and procedures
  • Monitors the license usage, identifying areas for optimization
  • Resolves, if necessary, license-related disputes and non-compliance issues
  • Educate and train internal teams on license management best practices and compliance

Your profile

  • Education in Information Systems Management, Business Administration or related field complemented by certifications in Asset Management
  • Proficiency in managing asset lifecycles, with hands-on experience in optimizing the use of hardware and software assets
  • Knowledge of software licensing models and agreements
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute policies and procedures to streamline asset management processes
  • Strong analytical skills to assess asset utilization, identify opportunities for improvement, and drive informed decision-making
  • Strong negation and contract management skills
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills for license optimization
  • Knowledge of software licensing models and agreements
  • Project management skills for handling license audits and oversee compliance
