QA Engineer

Opportunity :

We are looking for a QA Engineer who will join our scrum team building complex data-driven applications, including Searchlight Cloud.

Recruitment process :

1.Online meeting to know each other better

  • We will tell you more about our team and product
  • We will ask about your experience and we have a few very short questions to check your technical basis
  • We will discuss the cooperation conditions
  • We will be more than happy to answer all your questions

    • 2.Technology-focused meeting

  • You will meet one or two of our developers
  • They will tell you directly about their daily responsibilities and the processes we use
  • They will ask some technical questions to check your potential for our project

    • 3. Decision

  • In most cases, we need 4-8 days to be back with the information

    • Must have :

  • 3+ years of experience as QA (automation and manual testing),
  • Experience with REST API
  • Familiarity with Python, Typescript
  • Excellent knowledge about task and bug lifecycle,
  • A holistic approach to the product you build,
  • Very good in English (written and verbal),
  • Very good in Polish (written and verbal).
  • Ability to work at least 3 days a week from our office in Gliwice

    • Nice have :

  • Familiarity with Postman, Playwright, Testrail, Pytest
  • Experience in data analysis,
  • Usage of AI tools in daily work,
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology or a similar technical University degree,
  • Experience in working in agile methodologies

    • You will work in 2-week sprints, assist with building data-driven applications in a team of backend developers, frontend developers and QA – an interdisciplinary scrum team,, You will use testing tools, define and support QA strategies,, You will perform both manual (50%) and automated (50%) testing,, Writing testing scenarios will also be a part of your daily responsibilities.] Requirements : REST API, Python, QA, Manual Testing, Postman, Data analysis, Automated testing, TestRail, API testing, API documentation Tools : Jira, Confluence, Agile, Scrum.
