Senior iOS Engineer @ Ringier Axel Springer Tech

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior iOS Engineer to join our Blick App native team. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing high-quality iOS applications within an agile and collaborative environment.

• Experience : 5+ years of hands-on iOS development (Swift and Objective-C), with a proven track record of building and releasing successful iOS apps.
• Technical Skills : Deep understanding of iOS frameworks (UIKit, SwiftUI, etc.), RESTful APIs, and version control systems (Git). Specifically :
• UIKit experience (within the past 2 years),
• AVFoundation for video player development,
• Testing and mocking frameworks,
• Swift Package Manager and project modularisation,
• Experience with CI / CD pipelines and automated testing (unit / UI testing) is a plus.
• Agile Mindset : Prior experience working in an Agile / Scrum team environment. Able to adapt to changing requirements and iterative workflows while maintaining focus on delivery.
• Problem-Solving : Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail. Capable of designing solutions that are maintainable and scalable.
• Communication : Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal. Ability to work effectively in a distributed team, coordinating with on-site and remote (near-shore) colleagues.
