Responsibilities

• Architect and evolve backend systems that support millions of active users – from designing architecture to ensuring everything runs smoothly at scale.
• Build APIs engineers love – clean, reliable, intuitive, so frontend teams can move fast.
• Work with complex data flows, caching, and messaging, balancing performance with simplicity.
• Detect and resolve performance bottlenecks before users notice.
• Collaborate closely with product, frontend, and data teams to ship fast and iterate faster.
• Bring fresh ideas, constantly push limits, challenge assumptions, and raise the bar for backend engineering.
